Ammonium Lauryl Ether Sulfate 70%

Product introduction:

Ammonium Lauryl Ether Sulfate 70% (ALES-70%) is an anionic surfactant with excellent detergency and foaming performance. Owing to its high active matter content, it is widely used in concentrated formulations requiring strong surface activity. Compared to SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate), ALES offers greater mildness and is preferred in skin and hair care formulations designed to reduce irritation potential.

Features & Benefits:

  • Surfactant
  • Rich and stable foam generation
  • Improved skin mildness compared to SLES
  • High solubility in both hard and soft water
  • Compatible with various surfactants and other additives
  •

Applications:

  • Cosmetics & Personal Care: Due to its cleansing, degreasing, and foam-boosting properties, this material is widely used in personal care products such as hair shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers.
  • Detergent Industry: Used in products such as dishwashing liquids due to its excellent degreasing and foaming properties.
  • Textile & Dyeing Industry: Acts as an emulsifier and softening agent, improving the penetration and uniform distribution of dyes and other chemicals during textile preparation and fiber dyeing processes.
  • Oil & Gas Industry: Used as a foaming agent and emulsifier in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) processes. By reducing the interfacial tension between oil and injected water, it helps improve oil extraction from reservoirs.
  • Paint & Resin Industry: Used as an emulsifier and pigment dispersing agent to enhance color uniformity and formulation stability of paints and coatings.
  • Other Industries: Used as a foam generating and foam stabilizing agent in firefighting foams and foams used in drilling operations and petrochemical equipment cleaning processes.
