Product introduction:

Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate is a mild anionic surfactant supplied as a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid. Compared with Lauryl Sulfates and Laureth Sulfates, it offers significantly lower irritation potential, making it particularly suitable for baby care products and formulations designed for sensitive skin. It is readily soluble in water and demonstrates excellent compatibility with a wide range of surfactants in various formulations.

Applications:

 

  • Cosmetics & Personal Care: Used as a mild surfactant and stable foam booster in a variety of personal care products, including shampoos for sensitive skin and baby care, facial cleansing foams, shower gels, liquid hand soaps, body washes, and mouthwashes. It is widely used as a mild alternative to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) in sulfate-free formulations.
  • Detergent Industry: Used as an anionic surfactant and foam booster in dishwashing liquids, car wash detergents, carpet shampoos and household cleaning products.
  • Paint & Resin Industry: Functions as a dispersing agent, flow modifier, and adhesion enhancer in paints, coatings, and ink formulations.
  • Textile & Dyeing Industry: Used as a wetting agent during the washing and dyeing of wool and delicate fibers.
  • Agriculture: Used as a wetting and dispersing agent in formulations of water-soluble fertilizers and agrochemicals.
  • Other Industries: Used as a key component in firefighting foams to generate and stabilize foam. It is also used in cleaning, electroplating, and metal surface preparation processes.
